The Golden Mussel Award
Invitation to all cooks and chefs - you could win Britain's only 'Golden Mussel Award'!
Wells-next-the-Sea, Norfolk,
3rd Dec, from 5pm.
  • Entries are invited for the PROFESSIONAL, OPEN and JUNIOR categories.
  • Cooking equipment and mussels provided (courtesy Crown Hotel,Wells).
  • Dish must be mostly (or only) mussels.
  • The cook-off will be on the Quay at Wells
  • Depending on entries, there may be heats
  • All winners and entrants receive certificates
  • Professional wins trophy for a year, and display rights
  • Open wins dinner for two at The Crown Hotel Wells
  • Junior wins lunch at The Crown for 4 young people and 2 adults at the bar
